Ok Cheyenne McCray tagged me to tell 8 things about myself no one knows. I'll remember this, Chey ...<g>

This is hard, because I'm usually such an open person with few secrets. I have worked all my life to be a writer and anything else has been by-the-way. But here goes:

1. My father is an Episcopal priest. He's also a Korean War vet (but he was a soldier then, not a priest. That came later.)

2. I got married half-way through college, lived in Germany with dh for two years, came back, finished college, and went on to get a master's degree in English lit.

3. My parents are the only ones in their immediate and extended families who have never divorced. They've been married about 54 years.

4.  My dh and I have been married 22 years.

5. I build miniatures and dollhouses (but I think people already knew that).

6. Like Chey, I never watch tv. I find most news reporting to be over-sensationalistic--in other words they go out of their way to show as much gore and violence as possible, instead of simply reporting what happens. My dh keeps me up to date, and I watch DVDs and movies of my choice.

7. I do struggle with mild depression, one reason I don't watch tv! It's not clinical, and usually I can work through it.

8. I spent most of my high school years in Japan. I wouldn't trade that experience for the world.

Everything else, eveyone knows. I love to write and read and I try to keep life as simple as possible. Easier that way.
